Add Your Family to the Shajra

Send us your line of descent, and we will add your family to the interactive shajra of the Chib Rajputs.

The interactive family tree of the Chib Rajputs holds more than 1,300 names, from the family shajra and the family trees printed in Raja Muhammad Iftikhar Ali Khan’s 1997 history of the Chibs. Many families are not in it yet. If yours is missing, or a name in it is wrong, send us your line and we will add it.

1Find your placeSearch the tree, or the list of names, for the earliest ancestor of yours who is already in it. Select his name and press Add your family to bring him into the form.
2Send your lineWrite your name, your father’s and grandfather’s names and as many generations as you know, in English or in Urdu. A photo of your family’s written shajra helps most.
3We check and add itWe compare every line with the book and the family shajras before it goes into the tree, and write to you if anything is unclear. Each name added this way is marked Added on this website.

اگر آپ کا خاندان شجرے میں موجود نہیں، یا کسی نام میں غلطی ہے، تو نیچے دیے گئے فارم میں اپنا نام، والد اور دادا کا نام، گاؤں اور جتنی پشتیں آپ کو معلوم ہوں، لکھ کر بھیجیں۔ آپ اردو میں بھی لکھ سکتے ہیں۔ اگر آپ کے پاس خاندان کا لکھا ہوا شجرہ ہے تو اس کی تصویر بھی بھیج دیں۔ ہم کتاب اور خاندانی شجروں سے تصدیق کے بعد نام شامل کریں گے۔
