Why he built ChibRajputs.com
For centuries the history of the Chib Rajputs lived in a handful of Urdu books, in genealogies kept by family bards, in old papers and in the memory of elders. Little of it had ever been translated, and some of it was slowly being forgotten. Fakhar Jabran Chib started ChibRajputs.com to change that: to collect these sources in one place, retell them carefully in English with page references, and put them where anyone in the world can find them.
Everything on this website is his work for the tribe. He sponsors it, develops it and creates its content, from the history series to the illustrations and the film on the home page. The site is written for every Chib, in Azad Kashmir, in the Punjab and abroad, and for anyone who wants to understand the Rajput history of the Bhimber hills.
What he has built
He also created the short film on notable Chib ancestors that opens our home page, and his own writing on Mahal Kot, the lost fort of Malot, is part of our article on Mandi Malot.

Fakhar serves as Secretary General of the International Chib Rajput Forum (ICRF), a forum of Chib Rajputs at home and abroad.
